Background:

Dr Lalande is a French physician with more than two decades experience in ASEAN as a senior pharmaceutical executive.

Based in South East Asia since 1987, he served in senior management positions with the Servier Group, France’s second largest pharmaceutical company.

In his 17 years with Servier, he was Medical Director and then Managing Director of Servier Laboratories in Vietnam, Philippines and Thailand.

Since 2003, he has been a Foreign Trade Advisor – Thailand (CCE or Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France).

Dr Lalande graduated from Paris XIII medical school in 1983 and received a post diploma in Aeronautical Medicine, Tropical Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

He initially worked for the Pasteur Research Institute before joining the pharmaceutical industry.
